Obama ‘Agnostic’ on Deficit Cuts, Won’t Prejudge Tax Increases

Ok, anyone who believed for 5 seconds that the middle class would not see a tax increase under this administration is a fool that should not be allowed to vote! It has nothing to do with liking or not liking Obama or the Democratic party (which I personally can't stand) because Republicans have also gone back on their word regarding taxes, remember the "Read my lips: No new taxes"? But when does the bleeding stop? When are the middle class tax payers going to stop being bent over and taking it straight up the behind without the benefit of even a little lube? I guess it's safe to assume that unless you are dirt poor or filthy rich, you are going to get screwed by the government. Wouldn't it be wonderful if when your budget got a little tight, you were able to jack your job for more money? That is, if you're lucky enough to even have a job. The government does not feel that budgets need to be carefully examined and all of the government waste must be cut. Instead of doing that, like most people, they want the easy way out, just raise taxes. No one wants to be accountable or responsible, especially not the Feds.

WELL, WHITE PEOPLE DO IT!!!

"Well, white people do it!" That is the sentiment that I heard over and over yesterday as I held a "discussion" with some ladies at a local hair salon on issues facing the black community. In their "minds" black on black violence, broken families, high incarceration and a shockingly low graduation rate appear to be easily explained away by loudly proclaiming "well, white people do it" as though that made everything Ok. Mind you, this is not the first time that I've heard this rebuttal or will it be my last as it is one of the more popular rallying cries of the "whoa, it's me" mindset that has taken over the black community the last 40 years. I think it's number 2, right behind slavery, which by the way, they also threw out for good measure.

What these ladies were incapable of comprehending was that no one was saying that white people do not do these things, one would be a fool to think that. However, the rate in which these things are occurring in the black community, especially since we're only 13% of the population is appalling. To me, it's basically genocide of our own people. See every issue mentioned above is something that WE can control. There is no secret white militia going around with the mission to destroy the black race. If it were, it would be one of the easiest missions ever. They would just have to plant the seed, sit back and watch us do the rest. I know members of the "whoa it's me crew" will say "well, that's it, that's what they did with slavery". To use that argument, one would also have to be admitting that they see the black community as helpless, mindless drones that can only do what a superior group tells us to do. It's to say that we're not in control of making our own decisions or embracing our own destiny and I know that is simply not true.

To excuse the problems facing the black community with "well, white people do it" simply demonstrates that the person making the comment does not have the ability to form a rational thought to come up with an explanation or solution for what's destroying our community. Like most liberal ideology of the monolithic majority, it lacks substance. Who in their right mind determine their standards by a group that they swear up and down, has nothing but disdain for them and spend every waking moment plotting their demise?

It feels good to blame others for our failures and short comings. That means that we don't have to look within ourselves, we don't have to admit that we dropped the ball by not living up to expectations set by our forefathers. However, I implore the whiners, the enablers and destroyers of our community to come up with a better excuse than "well, white people do it"!
